The first time you open it
On macOS there is one thing to do and it takes a second. On Windows you will see one warning, and on Linux nothing will happen until you say the file may run. Neither means anything is wrong. Here is what you will see and what to press.
On macOS
Open the downloaded disk image and drag RedenFlow onto the Applications folder beside it.
Then open it from Applications. It starts with a double click and there is no warning to get past.
Running it straight out of Downloads works too, but updates cannot install themselves from there.
On Windows
You will see a blue Windows protected your PC screen saying the publisher is unknown.
Click More info, then Run anyway. The installer carries on as normal.
Nothing to type, and nothing to change in your settings.
On Linux
Nothing warns you. A file that has just been downloaded is not allowed to run, so double clicking the AppImage does nothing at all.
Give it permission once, either in the file manager, under Properties, or with this line:
chmod +x RedenFlow-x86_64.AppImageThen open it normally. Nothing is installed anywhere.
A Windows certificate is coming and the warning goes with it. The Linux step stays whatever we do: it is how Linux treats every file that has just been downloaded, signed or not.
What your computer needs
RedenFlow runs on an ordinary computer. Nothing here is unusual, and the only line worth reading twice is the one about graphics.

Without a graphics card, training that would take twenty minutes can take four hours. Everything else - labelling, one-click outlines, export - is the same either way. RedenFlow checks on first launch and tells you plainly which of the two you are in.
